Major Gifts Manager

RESOLVE Campaign

Are You Ready to join the most exciting and unique campaign in the country?

For the first time in Calgary, nine agencies are collaborating in a capital campaign. This partnership includes Accessible Housing Society, Bishop O’Byrne Housing for Seniors Association, Calgary Alpha House Society, Calgary Homeless Foundation, Calgary John Howard Society, Horizon Housing Society, Silvera for Seniors, The Mustard Seed, and Trinity Place Foundation of Alberta. RESOLVE will raise $120 million through this collaboration to establish stable, affordable, rent-based housing for the most vulnerable Calgarians. As opposed to spending money on ‘managing’ the problem, we are investing in ending and preventing homelessness through housing and support and creating a lasting legacy for Calgary.

The Opportunity

RESOLVE is seeking an experienced fund development professional with a proven track record in individual, corporate and / or foundation major gift fundraising to join the major gift team. The Major Gifts Manager will actively manage a robust portfolio of prospects & donors and will work with and support volunteers in their activities. RESOLVE provides a unique opportunity and experience rarely available to fundraising professionals – participation in a truly transformational campaign.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Major Gifts Manager will work closely with RESOLVE staff, as well as Campaign Partners and senior volunteer leadership. The successful candidate will possess a proven major gift track record, have an appreciation of Calgary’s philanthropic landscape and the cause, and thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment.
